COGNITIVE OBJECTIVE: TO ANALYZE AND SYNTHETISE INFORMATION RELATED TO CULTURAL EXCHANGES.

AFFECTIVE OBJECTIVE: TO LESSEN DISTRESS WHEN COPING WITH CRITICAL INCIDENTS DURING INTERCULTURAL EXCHANGES.

PSICOMOTOR OBJECTIVE: TO PARTICIPATE ACTIVELY IN ROLE-PLAYS, REFLECTING AND EXPRESSING IDEAS RELATED TO THE TOPIC.

STAGE	ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION	OBJECTIVES	TIME	PROCEDURE
Warm up	Presenting and discussing	To familiarize students with the aspects of intercultural exchange.	5 min.	Introduce the topic by mentioning an incident related to cultural misunderstandings. Ask students if they have seen any similar situations.
Pre-activity	Video Stereotypes Intercultural Communication	To see how intercultural exchange affects communication effectiveness.	10 min.	Present the video and ask them to get details to comment on later.
Activity	To introduce the students to the use of the “Intercultural Skills. A guide to working with other cultures”.	To provide students with a guide on how to deal with intercultural differences and issues.	30 min.	Present the guide. Ask students to go through the guide explaining and expanding on the topics presented with dynamics and role-plays.
Post - activity	To make a reflection about the skills they have and the ones they need to acquire in order to have better intercultural awareness.	To analyze and identify skills they have and the ones they have to develop.	15 min.	Writing a reflection.
